Lyndsay Job ’66

A Gift for the Future
Inspired by the way his Peddie experience has continued to shape his life decades after he graduated as well as the $5 million Legacy Challenge for documented planned gifts during the One Peddie campaign, Lyndsay Job made the single largest planned gift commitment to the One Peddie campaign.
Excited about helping to make Peddie accessible to students whose families do not have the resources to pay full tuition, Lyndsay has designated his seven-figure planned gift to establish a new endowed scholarship fund. In doing so, he played a major role in making the One Peddie campaign a great success!
A graduate from the Class of 1966, Lyndsay remembers Peddie as a transformational experience in his life. Coming from Tenafly High School in northeast New Jersey, admitting that he was just not “getting it there,” his parents recognized a change needed to be made, and Lyndsay transferred to Peddie, repeating his junior year.
Citing the influence of his teachers and staff, Lyndsay said, “That’s what it was all about—great mentors.” They opened his eyes and ignited his academic ambition. Peddie put him on a path to a successful career. “At Rollins College, it was easy for me to immerse myself in studies.” Lyndsay then spent nearly all of his career in banking and has always planned to leave a portion of his estate to Peddie.
In light of the inspiration Lyndsay provided during the final chapter of the campaign and the tremendous impact his gift will have on the lives of future Peddie students, we wish to express our eternal gratitude to Lyndsay for his leadership, vision, and generosity.
